The ttopstart academy was invited to provide a training on increasing success of biomedical researchers in Horizon 2020 at the 6th annual meeting of the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) in Birmingham. In this training, we explained some of the key tricks and best practises that ttopstart uses to reach its current 50% success rate in Horizon 2020. This included our own Fit, Framework, Write and Develop (FFWD) method and Minto’s Pyramid principle for structuring grant proposals. The participants were very enthusiastic about the training and thought it was very instructive.
